Should I send my child to a group or 1-on-1 swimming class?

All parents want to best for their young ones. When it comes to learning how to swim, attention to the child’s safety while giving them sufficient time to practice are at the top of most parents’ minds. Therefore, some parents chose 1-on-1 coaching.

In general, Swim Rite recommends children learn in a small group where they will have maximum practice time under the teacher’s watchful eyes. Children enjoy companionship, they get to learn from their peers, and they motivate and edge each other forward.

When a child has special needs and requiring more attention from the teacher, then 1-on-1 teaching is necessary. That said, we will still integrate the child into the group when possible.
